The following list will help you prepare for a successful trip to Camp Daniel
Boone:
- BIBLE
- Other reading material
- Extra spending money for souvenirs, snacks and in-transit meals
- Class A Uniform
- Class B Uniform (Purple shirts, ANY boy scout shirts, or PLAIN tee shirt
with no graphics!)
- Sweat shirt or light jacket (it is colder in the mountains)
- Socks, socks, and even more socks!
- Underwear, underwear, and even more underwear!
- Sleeping bag / pillow (you may want to bring the pillow on the bus)
- Long pants (at least one pair)
- Shorts
- Hiking shoes/boots (if you have them)
- Tennis shoes
- Flip-flops/water shoes for the showers
- Poncho
- Swim suit
- Towels (2 for shower / 1 for swimming)
- Scout handbook
- Camera (don't forget film!)
- Flashlight
- Pocket knife (Totin' chip)
- Paper/Notebook and pens
- Playing cards and/or other easy to carry games (no box games!)
- Personal hygiene items (toothbrush/paste, deodorant (PLEASE!), toilet
paper, soap, shampoo, washcloth, etc.)
- Fishing gear
- Items required for merit badges (i.e. - back pack for Camping MB, etc
DO NOT BRING: Electronic devices/games of any kind!
